The generative grammar of becoming

Core Statements

1. Reality unfolds through four recursive moments: Measure, Motion, Morphe, Meaning.
2. Form is stabilized motion; meaning is stabilized relevance.
3. Knowing and being follow the same generative sequence.

Concept 

Scientific disciplines often isolate domains: measurement belongs to physics, motion to dynamics, form to geometry, and meaning to cognition. This separation has enabled precision but fragmented coherence.

M4-Poiezis proposes a generative sequence linking these domains.

Measure is not only quantification but distinction—the minimal differentiation that defines what can be compared.
From distinction arises Motion: relational transformation, feedback, and irreversibility.
Out of dynamic interaction stabilizes Morphé: coherent persistence, form as memory of process.
When form becomes relevant for viability, Meaning emerges.

These moments are not hierarchical stages but recursive aspects of becoming. Meaning reshapes what is measured. Form constrains motion. Motion redefines distinction.

From an epistemic perspective, M4 describes how knowledge arises: we measure, track change, recognize form, and extract relevance.

From an ontological perspective, it suggests that reality itself unfolds through the same grammar.

M4-Poiezis does not replace physics or biology.
It reframes their continuity.

1. Is meaning derivative of structure—or an intrinsic constraint within it?
2. Where does irreversibility enter the M4 sequence?
3. Can artificial systems participate in M4, or only simulate its stages?
